The founder
Robert Ouellette founded Forum Bureau in 2003. The former director of the University of Toronto's Information Technology Design Centre, he understood that the Internet was evolving into a largely untapped repository for global intelligence. This abundance of raw information creates new ways to tackle complex problems - like how to better distribute green technologies. It was Ouellette's work on sustainable cities and his writing for the National Post that resulted in an invitation to the United Nations in New York to be a respondent at their "Sustainable Cities" conference in October, 2006. He has also advised companies like Zerofootprint on their Internet publication and social networking strategies.
Ouellette holds an honours Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business. He is a member of the Information Architecture Institute and is a frequent speaker on issues of digital technology, design, and the environment. |
